Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CougarMetropolis as a customer or vendor. They will be replaced with counsel-reviewed copy before public launch — what follows is a working draft that captures the substance of the platform's commitments.

1. About this marketplace

CougarMetropolis is a curated marketplace for premium lingerie, sleepwear, loungewear, shapewear, hosiery, and lifestyle gift pieces. The platform itself does not sell merchandise. Independent vendors operate their own storefronts and remain the seller of record for each item.

2. Account & eligibility

You must be of legal majority in your jurisdiction to register. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for safeguarding your password. Suspended or repeatedly disputed accounts may be closed at our discretion.

3. Vendor commitments

Vendors agree to ship described items within the handling window stated on their storefront, to honour their stated returns policy, and to keep their listings consistent with the platform's clean, mature, non-pornographic editorial tone. Listings that violate the brand policy may be paused or removed without notice.

4. Customer purchases

All sales are between you and the vendor. The platform processes payment, deducts a 5% commission, and routes the remainder to the vendor on the agreed payout schedule. Refund eligibility follows the vendor's stated policy and applicable consumer law.

5. Acceptable use

No sexually explicit content, no harassment, no fraudulent listings, no scraping or automated abuse of the platform or AI features. Concierge chat output is generated and may be imperfect — use it as guidance, not as professional advice.

6. Liability

The platform is provided as-is. We do not warrant uninterrupted service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the platform's liability is limited to the platform commission collected on the affected transaction.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to registered users and posted on this page with a new effective date.
