When does my commission lock?
The moment an order is paid. We don't deduct returns from your earnings unless they exceed 15% of your monthly volume — that buffer protects partners from refund-clawback drama.
How do I get paid?
Connect Stripe in your affiliate dashboard for automatic monthly payouts. If you'd rather invoice us, that works too — we'll cut a cheque or wire on the same monthly cadence.
What does the customer see?
A clean Cougar Metropolis URL or your custom code at checkout. No "via affiliate" badge, no referral disclaimer page. Your audience sees the same site we'd serve anyone else.
What about taxes?
If you're a US partner earning $600+/year, we'll request a W-9 and file a 1099 at year-end. International partners self-declare locally; we provide an annual statement.
Can I promote specific products or categories?
Yes. You can generate per-product, per-category, or per-vendor links from your dashboard. Attribution still uses the same 30-day window.
What's the minimum payout?
$25. Below that, your earnings roll into the next month's payout to keep transfer fees from eating into small balances.
